The laser range finder is a precise distance sensing instrument, which consists of a laser receiving optical system , a laser emitting optical system , a laser transmitter , a laser receiver , a power supply and a controller, and a housing . ( As shown in Figure 1 ), It is installed on the ground or on the vehicle platform, and is coaxial with the vehicle-mounted sighting system. Driven by the platform system, it searches and tracks the target. After the platform system searches for the target, it conducts lock and output the sign signal that the target has been searched , and then start ranging, and the distance data will be output to the host computer through the output interface .
